I love teaching online and have made a discount available during this challenging time due to COVID-19. My equipment for sound and vision is excellent for ZOOM lessons and I can guide you to have the best sound set-up on your side as well.
When you have booked a time I will send you an invite to join me by ZOOM and all you need to do is to click on the link from your laptop, iPad or phone and we can see each other. We can play and talk.
I tailor each lesson exactly to your needs. Whether you are a beginner or a professional I will transform your playing via online lessons because of a lifetime of experience and enthusiasm in teaching.

As Professor of Music at the University of Auckland I started teaching online already during study and research leave in 2008. The classes were so successful that it led to an important exploration and significant increase of online teaching exchange between several countries. I loved the medium as I could teach my flute students and the entire class at the university in Auckland from Germany. I had enthusiastic helpers from the staff of a fantastic institute which is associated with the Robert Schumann Music Conservatory: the INSTITUTE FOR MUSIC AND MEDIA IMM in Duesseldorf.
